Nate Thomson Underground Cage Fighting Series

In last weekends Main Event of the Underground MMA Cage Fighting Series, Integrated MMA’s Nate Thomson won his debut fight in impressive fashion in the 1st rnd via Rear Naked Choke. After a huge slam & vicious Ground ‘n’ Pound early in the 1st round Nate took the back of local favourite Brett Blakie to finnish with the choke submission.

Greg Atzori of IMA Hervey Bay also scored an impressive victory by armbar in the first round over the very experienced Pete Davis. Well done men.

Mick Mortimer V Ed Arana

CFC 13 will see Integrated MMA/Fairtex standout bantamweight Mick Mortimer look to square up the record on April 16th V Ed Arana. The dangerous striker Arana defeated Mortimers team mate Matt Schiappadori August 2009 and has stepped up to fight on the second CFC event to be held in Queensland.

A Welterweight World Title fight will headline the second event in Cage Fighting Championship 2010 series. It will be war when Justin Murray former Warriors Realm and XFC Champion takes his place as No. 1 contender, representing Australia for the CFC Welterweight title when he faces Jesse Juarez from the USA. Jesse has fought in some of the worlds biggest events including Strike force, Bellator Fight Championship and MFC and is a welterweight title holder in the Invincible fight championship boasting a 13 – 5 record. A full undercard will support this event featuring Jai Bradney, Dylan Andrews, Ben Mortimer and Michael Mortimer.

Evolution XX- First Ever MMA Fight

The Sleeman Centre in Brisbane will play host to the first ever MMA Fight on the Evolution XX Event on April 24th when Integrated MMA’s Australian Lightweight Champion  Adrian “THE HUNTER” Pang takes on Asia Contender fighter Zidov. Tony Rossini CFC 12 Sydney

Tony Rossini showed Sydney he is a man on a mission in the Australian MMA Welterweight scene dominating the experienced Jon Leven from the opening bell.

Rossini clinicly put together a punching combination to set up some kness from the thai clench before taking his opponent to the mat. After a barrage of ground and pound the young Integrated MMA/Fairtex fighter took control of his opponents back and finnished with his signature rear naked choke to bring on the Tapout early in the first round.
