Pang V Zidov Evolution XX

Integrated MMA/Fairtex Champ Adrian “THE HUNTER”  Pang made quick work of ‘The Contender Asia’ star Zidov Dominik stopping his opponent early in the first round via KO due to elbows at the Evolution XX event in Queensland.

After initial exchanges from both fighters, Pang lifted Zidov and slammed him down in the centre of the ring. From side control Pang worked the ground and pound before passing to full mount. Pang then unloaded with punches which were followed up with two elbows, from which the second one briefly KO’d Zidov forcing the referee Peter Hickmott to halt the fight with the official announcement giving Adrian the victory, 1.30 into the first round. Zidov in his post-fight interview challenged Pang to a Muay-Thai rules fight for their next meeting, to which THE HUNTER was happy to oblige pending approval from the promoters. Pang has had six fights under Muay Thai rules with his only loss coming to highly ranked Taylor Harvey.

Cage Fighting Championships 13 saw Integrated MMA/Fairtex standout Mick Mortimer defeat Luke Hume by triangle choke in rnd 1. After defending a standing head and arm choke Mortimer picked his larger opponent up into the air and slammed him to the canvass. Mortimer transitioned smoothly from guillotene to triangle choke. Whilst tightening the submission hold Hume let loose with elbows from top position.
