Friday the 27th August saw Integrated MMA and Integrated Martial Arts fighters compete on both the Nitro MMA Event and The Underground MMA Event.

Nitro featured Integrated MMA’s Australian 60kg Champion Mick “THE MORTICIAN” Mortimer who defeated the dangerous heavy punching Ed  Arana by rear choke in round 1. Also doing the business on Nitro was Nate Thomson who brutally KO’d the highly touted Ryan Yanz with ground and pound in the first round of their match.

Panapa Pereira led by example in the opening fight of the Underground MMA event in Maryborough by KO’ing his opponent with and nice punch combination followed by a powerful knee to the head. The boys from Integrated Martial Arts Hervey Bay followed his lead with Kris Tassotti, Greg Atzori and Dale MacKenzie all winning their fights.

Underground MMA 7 Maryborough Showgrounds

Integrated MMA/Fairtex light heavyweight Panapa Pereira is stepping up to heavyweight at short notice to fight on the seventh installment of the Underground MMA series which will come to the Fraser Coast for the first time. Integrated Martial Arts in Hervey Bay has many fighters on the fight card including Kris Tassotti and Greg Atzori. Good luck to all the boys stepping up to test their skills in the cage.
