Underground MMA April 16th
Last Sat night saw Integrated MMA represent with a record 6 fighters on the Tapout Underground MMA series at Brisbanes Broncos Leagues Club.
With all these up and coming fighters putting on a great display of MMA it was Grego Penaloza who opened up the Integrated account impressively with a great display of controlled and skillfull MMA techniques stopping his opponent with strikes on the ground in round 1.
Tim Warnock fought the fight of the night in my opinion with an exciting battle which went to the judges seeing Tim rightfully awarded the decision win.
Big Chris Lokteff the man affectionately known to his team mates as “IGOR” entertained the crowd walking out to the “ADAMS FAMILY” music. The big fella didnt dissapoint his supporters putting together a mix of standup and wrestling before unloading with power punches in side position forcing referee Tommy “GUNZ” Pacyna to halt the action for the TKO victory.
Last but not least was Integrated/NTG trained fighter Majid “THE BEAST FROM THE MIDDLE EAST” Ahmadi V Aaron Voois. Majid started aggressively connecting with a big hook that send Aaron to the mat in the opening minute. Aaron did well from his back nearly snaring Majid in a triangle before reversing the position. Majid used his feet to push Voois away and got back to his feet. From there it was Majid who took control throwing his opponent head first into the mat which badly dayzed Voois and pounced with a finnishing blow that brought about the KO finnish.

Fight World Cup 8 was where the QLD MMA was showcased last Sat night. With 6 fighters eyes on the belt for the Lightweight FWC Title tournament rivals Integrated MMA against Fightcross with promising young Integrated fighter Tim Radley meeting Robert Fish.
As both fighters started strongly it was Radley who landed some big power slams and progressed to mount. Seconds before the round ended Fish reversed. It was much of the same in the second round as Radley secured another takedown unloading with big punches before locking on the submission for the tap at 1:05.
Integrated MMA debutant Chris Lokteff lined up across from the physical Damien Plumbley. Lokteff landed a nice straight 2 punch combo immediately badly busting his opponents nose. Lokteff used good positioning to thrpw his charging opponent into the cage and immediately opened up with a barage of punches to his downed opponent to bring the TKO ref stoppage victory at 2:26 of the first.
In another lightweight eliminator Integrated Hervey Bay fighter Greg Atzori met Joel Ormsby. Atzori started the fight with a leg kick before being taken down where the fight stayed for much of the first round. Atzori came out for round 2 with a take down of his own and progressed to mount forcing his opponent to turn. Atzori locked up the rear choke submission at 1:02 of round two and progressing to the next round.
