Integrated MMA/Fairtex lightweight fighter Damien Brown entered Legend FC 9 as an underdog against Haotian Wu from China.These 2 men fought a fight of the night battle that in the end saw the 27 year old Aussie Brown perform impressively to earn a unanimous points decision win.

Brown looked dominant in the in the standup exchanges and scored well with several takedowns throughout the match where he punished his Chinese opponent with ground and pound. Wu made Brown work hard for the victory with numerous submission attempts but could not hold the submissions on the more powerful Aussie. The fight was scored 30-27, 30-27, 30-27

The UFC recently announced the second international version of The Ultimate Fighter would be Australia vs the U.K. will see professional MMA fighters from Australia and the United Kingdom live together in The Ultimate Fighter house in Australia and compete against each other for a UFC contract.

Congratulations to our Integrated Mma Sunshine Coast boy Tyler Manawaroa who took his pro fight record to 6-0 with a first round win by RNC submission on the ManOwar MMA event last night. Tyler who is yet to turn 18 will fight again on Nitro July 7th.
