Chris Lokteff was born in Brisbane, Australia to parents that migrated from China with their families after escaping communist Russia. In 1992 Chris and his family returned to live in Russia for two years where Chris attended school in Kazakhstan. On returning to Australia Chris attended South Side Christian College with his brother and sister but found himself in trouble and was later expelled. Leaving school at 16 years of age Chris began working  wherever he could to make ends meet.

Lost and in search of direction Chris was watching Foxtel when the sport of MMA caught his attention. With no previous sporting experience Chris found himself drawn to MMA  and in 2010 chose Integrated MMA in Brisbane as the place to start on his MMA journey.Walking into the gym at 84 kg  Chris’s raw potential caught the eye of Coaches Dan Higgins and Adrian Pang. A man on a mission whilst in the gym Chris eventually found himself invited to the pro class alongside some of Australias best fighters. Later that year at a fit and powerful 93+kg  Chris stepped into the cage for the first time and wasted no time in serving notice to Australia’s Light Heavyweight division quickly going to 7 straight KO victories from as many fights.

The man affectionately known as “IGOR” by his team mates and supporters has the determination and natural athletic ability to go far and is going from strength to strength under Integrated MMA’s elite coaching staff. Keep an eye out for the name Chris “IGOR” Lokteff  in 2012 because he’s on the way to making  his dream a reality.
