Nate Thomson grew up in New Zealand in a small town of approximately 6 thousand people on the West Coast of the South Island with his Mother , Father and one brother. When he finished high school he began working at the local coal mine where he operated coal trucks. With natural athletic ability Nate played rugby union since he was 5 years old and had 6 amatuer boxing fights when he was 16 years of age.
2006 saw Nate move to Australia and whilst in Australia he had a son who is now 3 yr old. Nate first learnt of MMA and Integrated MMA here in Australia when he watched now team mate Adrian Pang fight on a dvd and liked what he saw and wondered if he too could compete in this exciting sport. Now with 3 wins to his name from as many fights Nate was given the fight name “Bull Rush” because of his non stop aggressive fighting style.
Nate says he wants to continue training and fighting in MMA for as long as life allows him to and be a good example for his son as he grows up so that he will see the benifits that sport can bring to your health and life.
