hi im charles curcuruto
i am 14 years old and interested in mma. i already do boxing and am fit from that but i find boxing a bit boring and in boxing you do not learn things that could happen outside the ring. this is what i belive mma does.i look at mma fighters and the things that r taught to me in boxing iwouldnt help me against a mma fighter. i would like to learn how to kick properly as well….if anybody could tell me would this kids program teaches you and if this program is the correct one for me.
any help on this would be great
cheers charles
Hi Charles Integrated MMA concentrated on all aspects of self defence. Striking and grappling. Im sure you would love the classes. Contact Dan Higgins in the contact us section of our website and go to training for a look. All the best.
Hi I am 15 and hav an established knowledge in MMA and have a great interest in both standing and grappling. Is there and age limit for the kids class? Also, does the grappling section include submissions and ground fighting as well as takedowns and clinch? Thanks heaps man
Hi Trent 15 is fine mate and yes the training includes all aspects of MMA.
What is your starting age limit?
Thanks,
K. Burn.
10 years old and above would be Ok for the kids classes.
hi, my friend and i would like to start mma, we are both 13 turning 14 this year, and my friend is skinny, but im kinda chubby do you think i could use this as a exercise, do you also think i would lose weight?
Hi Max, MMA is an awesome way to get fit and learn self defence. Clayfield isnt too far from the gym at Stafford so Integrated will be a great choice. All our coaching staff have good knowledge on health and fitness as well as mma so you will be in good hands. Check out the class timetables on our website.See you at the gym mate.
Hey just wondering how much it is for your MMA gloves. The fairtex ones? Looking at grabbing some tonight. Ta.
Hi kieron, youll have to give Adrian Pang a call mate. His number is on the website. Cheaper than you will but them for at any other FAirtex distributor in Australia. All the best with your training.
Hi, I am interested in training at your gym as iv just moved to oz. I was wondering what your membership options are? would I be tied into a commitment period or can I pay per session? Thanks
Hi mate, yes you can pay per session. Give Adrian Pang or Dan Higgins a call for payment details. There contact details are listed in the contacts section.
Hey just wondering about your saturday training sessions.
Is that a class or just open-mat?
And if I come do the partners rotate, or would I have to bring a friend?
My 15yr old son is interested in starting MMA training.
Hi Michael,
Please call Dan Higgins or Adrian Pang, their contact numbers are on this website. You can be assured your son will enjoy his training at Integrated.
hey,im new in brisbane so i dont know my way around well.im interested in takeing classes.iv done taekwondo for 9 months but im more interested in the actual sport of mma then taekwondo because id like to develop my skills and be a better allrounded fighter. im 15 years old and im wondering how much it would cost for about 3 classes a week.
oh and is there a bus i can catch from chermside that will drop me of walking distance to your gym??
Hey im 15 and Ive done bjj and muay thai before and I was just wondering if I started at this gym how long would it take to participate in competitions at my age and what are the requirements?
Hi Nathan, you’ll have to call the bus company and ask about public transport mate but there is likely to be something from Chermside. Also if you can go to our phone listing on our website and give Coaches Dan Higgins or Adrian Pang a call or better still go to the gym for a look they will be able to fill you in on training costs. Hope to see you there.
Hi Sean, everyone is different as far as when they are ready for competition mate. However there are many grappling tournaments which Integrated competitors take part in available before competing in MMA which is a great stepping stone as far as competing is concerned.
Hey just wondering the adult beginner classes are like ? I am 36 and would like to start doing something like this for my fitness. I have done muay thai and boxing before. Is is possible to start MMA at my age or is the gym full of blokes alot younger than me ? I am really unfit.
Classes for all levels mate. Get down to the gym and check it out. You wont regret it. The most important step is just doing it!
Hi guys, Im looking at getting started in mma. I dont really have much training under my belt other then a dozen bjj lessons. Anyway i hope to make it in tonight to check it out and maybe start doing classes.
Cheers
Dave
Hey I was wondering if the public class does actuall sparring
Hi Sam all classes do some sparring at a level suited to the individuals capabilities.
i want to learn MMA and i think IMMA could be good place for me. Just wondering how much would be the fees??
hey, my mate and i want to start, were 13 turning 14 and we spar by ourselves and thought it would be good to be training properly? Do you think it would be a good idea, more safe and actually learn things?
thanks guys.
Hi Sam go down to training and check it out mate. Thats the first step in achieving your training goals.
