IGOR preparing for CFC

The Cage Fighting Championship 2012 season Kicks off February 24th at the Southport Sharks Club, Gold Coast. Headlining the fight night will be a Light Heavyweight battle, Priscus ‘Tassie Devil’ Fogagnolo’ takes on Joe ‘the Massacre’ Muir.

Also looking to continue his unbeaten run on this event is Integrated MMA/Fairtex rising star Chris “IGOR” Lokteff. Chris has won all his fights by KO and TKO and steps up to Australias premiere event to fight Lions Den fighter Adam Sarkis.

Integrated MMA/Fairtex Champion Lightweight Adrian Pang will lead a strong IMA charge at Cage Fighting Championship 9. This will be CFC’s first Queensland show  on July 11th 2009 at the Carrara Indoor Stadium Carrara, Gold Coast. The Gold Coast will come alive with the best MMA fighting action seen in QLD.

Other IMA fighters fighting on the night will be Matt “Rolling Bear” Cain V Luke Piclum, a win will see Matt Cain fight for the CFC Welterweight Title and also undefeated Integrated Welterweight Tony Rossini making his CFC debut.

Congratulations to IMA/Fairtex fighters Mick Mortimer and Silvester Lidicky for bringing Team Integrated to 8 straight wins after their fights last weekend.

Silvester Lidicky dominated from the outset with a powerful display of wrestling and standup before finishing his opponent by rear choke in the first round.

Bantamweight Australian Champion Mick Mortimer sprawled and brawled his way through Brazillian blackbelt Renato Viera. Mick dominated with skillfull standup after the Brazillians efforts to keep Mortimer on the mat were thwarted with great technique in getting back to the standing position. Mick continued the pressure and finnished his  opponent by TKO via a big elbow which opened up a nasty cut above Viera’s eye in the final round.

Integrated MMA/Fairtex will also be represented on the night by  exciting new middlewight Silvester Lidicky moving into his second pro MMA fight after an impressive win on Brace For War last month.
