Kyle Noke To Face Camozzi UFC 127 Australia

Coming off a strong victory over Rob Kimmons at UFC 122, Australian Kyle Noke (18-4, 1 draw/UFC 2-0) will return back to home-country of Australia to take on Chris Camozzi (14-3/UFC 2-0) on the UFC 127 card scheduled for Acer Arena on February 27.

Both Noke and Camozzi were cast-members on the eleventh season of The Ultimate Fighter where they were on opposing sides. Unfortunately for Camozzi his tenure on the show was very short with UFC president Dana White advising him he would not be able to continue due to a broken jaw suffered in his preliminary-round victory over Victor O’Donnell.

Originaly trained by Dan Higgins at Integrated MMA in Brisbane, Noke whilst living in the U.S trains at Greg Jacksons’ gym in New Mexico and is coming off a strong submission victory over Rob Kimmons at UFC 122. He will come into the fight on a four fight win streak with his last loss occuring to Scott Smith on Elite XC in February, 2008.

Although not officially announced the Ultimate Fighting Championships, UFC 127 is scheduled to take part on February 27 at the Acer Arena and will be headlined by former Lightweight and Welterweight UFC champion B.J. Penn taking on Jon Fitch.
