Cage Fighting Championships 13 saw Integrated MMA/Fairtex standout Mick Mortimer defeat Luke Hume by triangle choke in rnd 1. After defending a standing head and arm choke Mortimer picked his larger opponent up into the air and slammed him to the canvass. Mortimer transitioned smoothly from guillotene to triangle choke. Whilst tightening the submission hold Hume let loose with elbows from top position.

CFC 13 will see Integrated MMA/Fairtex standout bantamweight Mick Mortimer look to square up the record on April 16th V Ed Arana. The dangerous striker Arana defeated Mortimers team mate Matt Schiappadori August 2009 and has stepped up to fight on the second CFC event to be held in Queensland.

A Welterweight World Title fight will headline the second event in Cage Fighting Championship 2010 series. It will be war when Justin Murray former Warriors Realm and XFC Champion takes his place as No. 1 contender, representing Australia for the CFC Welterweight title when he faces Jesse Juarez from the USA. Jesse has fought in some of the worlds biggest events including Strike force, Bellator Fight Championship and MFC and is a welterweight title holder in the Invincible fight championship boasting a 13 – 5 record. A full undercard will support this event featuring Jai Bradney, Dylan Andrews, Ben Mortimer and Michael Mortimer.
